Youth Prayer

We affirm the glory of God’s creation the potential for growth in all people.

We affirm our belief in Christ as friend and brother.

We affirm the creative energy of the Spirit Awakening goodness breaking down barriers.

We commit ourselves to working with young people; encouraging their gifts, enabling their participation, safeguarding their interests.

We commit ourselves to supporting each other; to walking alongside the doubting and the downcast, listening, not interfering.

We commit ourselves to confronting superficial solutions, speaking not avoiding.

We commit ourselves to rejoice with those who rejoice, to weep with those who weep, to be partners with those who serve.

We commit ourselves – our time, energy and skills, In Christ’s name, and for his sake.  AMEN.
