It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Fr. Mario Dorado OFMCap, a cherished member of our congregation. We would also like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who helped and assisted Fr. Mario during his time in the hospital and hospice, as well as those who offered their support in other ways. Your kindness, dedication, and support for Fr. Mario will always be remembered and appreciated.

We extend an invitation to you to attend the Requiem Masses in honour of Fr. Mario that will be held at several parishes on the following dates and times:

Saturday, March 18th, 11 am at Holy Cross Parish in Henderson

Sunday, March 19th, 6 pm at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Blockhouse Bay

Monday, March 20th, 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes in Glen Eden

Friday, March 24th, 7 pm at St. Benedict’s

Saturday, March 25th, 3 pm at St. Patrick’s Cathedral

We encourage our community to come together and offer support and prayers for Fr. Mario’s family, Capuchin brothers, and loved ones during this difficult time.
